Description
Between Marienberg and Hardenberg, north of the Vecht, you cycle through the extensive forests of Boswachterij Hardenberg. Here is De Oldemeijer, a recreational lake dug in the 1960s, which is surrounded by a beautiful beach. A little further on are the Rheezerbelten, a striking strip of drifting dunes, which are now largely forested.
