This polder mill was built here in 1780, together with the Lijkermolen No. 1. The function of this mill was to drain the Drained Veender and Lijkerpolder.

This mill was built in 1780 to drain the dehydrated Veender and Lijkerpolder. The mill is still running on a voluntary basis. Near this mill you will find the Lijkermolen No. 2.
