Description

From here you quickly cycle to the ferry that takes you a little way out onto the water, to Alblasserdam. Then you cycle along a beautiful route along the water to the famous Kinderdijk. The beautiful eighteenth-century windmills, such as the Hoge Molen and Kleine Molen, are on the World Heritage List. You cycle along the Maas to Nieuw-Lekkerland, where you take the ferry to Lekkerkerk. A beautiful rural shortcut takes you to Krimpen aan de IJssel and Krimpen aan de Lek. Then follow the Maas into Rotterdam. The Nesserdijk leads you out of the city again - here you immediately have a real village feeling. A ferry takes you back to your starting point.
