Tour of Mantgum, Bozum and Wommels

Would you like to relax for a day? Come cycle in Friesland! Here you drive on car-free paths through a landscape of vast grasslands. First you ride along the cycle path along the Bolswardertrekvaart, built in 1638. At junction 74 is the Bolswarder Tolhuis from 1652. The twelfth-century St. Radboud Church is located in the terp village of Jorwerd. In Mantgum you cycle through the protected villagescape, just past Oostwierum you drive along the Zwette, a canal that is part of the Eleven Cities Tour. After a pit stop at Café Dorpshuis Boazumer Mjitte, you will pick up the path along the Bolswardertrekvaart further on. You pass through Wommels, at junction 71 you see It Tsiispakhús, a regional museum that is located in a cheese warehouse from 1905. You drive back to the parking lot via the picturesque Iens and Oosterlittens.
