Cycling route around Bergambacht

You can take a nice bike ride around Bergambacht. Here you cycle through the Krimpenerwaard: a vast polder landscape of elongated meadows and ditches. You drive the first part of the route to Zuidbroek. You pass countless willows and beautiful old farms. Striking detail in the landscape are the wooden electricity poles that provide a touch of nostalgia. At junction 24 you pass the Zuidbroekse Molen, a polder mill from 1922. On the way to the Lek you drive a few kilometers on low-traffic paths. It is wonderfully quiet here in the polder, ideal for a relaxing day. From junction 64 you cycle over the dike along the Lek. Just past Ammerstol you turn north and drive back into the polders. The route ends at Pannenkoekenrestaurant Onder De Molen.
