Right through the Leuvenum woods

It is nice and quiet to make kilometers on De Veluwe. This nature reserve covers an area of more than 91,200 hectares. There is always something new to discover here, no matter how often you visit. You drive through the Doornspijkse Heide and Boswachterij Nunspeet, among other things. Further on you cycle through the varied deciduous and coniferous forests of Leuvenum. There is a lot of game here, from boars to roe deer and red deer. To keep these populations healthy, wildlife bridges have been constructed and dead wood remains. In Hulshorst you can see the beautiful octagonal windmill De Maagd. It was built in 1894 to grind grain. In 1988 the mill was refurbished and made ready to grind again.
