Tour Stippelberg near Gemert

This route departs from Boscafé Grotel\\\'s Enjoyment at Bakel. Enjoy a cup of coffee with something delicious - if it's still a bit chilly by the fireplace! - and then hit the road. Today you make a beautiful trip through the vast nature reserve De Stippelberg. It is remarkably quiet here on the beautiful paths between the pine trees. Highland cattle graze on the moors to the east of the area; a natural solution for combating tough grasses. The area is a breeding ground for about 80 bird species, such as the kingfisher, nightjar and various types of birds of prey. Around the pools you will find the rare moor frog, pool frog and pin-legged salamander. In addition, polecats, roe deer, hares, foxes and badgers live in the area.
