You will not soon forget historic Brielle. You can view beautiful historic buildings here. The old city walls, nine bastions, five ravelins, an eighteenth-century gatekeeper's house and a furnished harbor battery with a guardhouse and many bunkers have all been preserved. The old defenses give you a unique insight into the history of the old fortified town. The route also takes you through the tip of Kruiningergors. This small hamlet has less than two hundred inhabitants. The start and end point of the route is the cozy Camping De Krabbeplaat. Here you can spend the night in a simple hiker's hut, a mobile home or bring your own tent. You will not lack comfort here, because the campsite has four-star facilities.
