Oudewater is the oldest city in the Green Heart. Here you can admire the fifteenth-century St. Michael's Church. The town hall, built in 1588, with its Renaissance facade is also a beautiful sight, as is the Waag from 1482. You pass the Weijpoortse Molen, a polder mill from 1674. Fort Wierickerschans is a year older: a nice sight. History is there for the taking in Woerden. Here you will see, among other things, the Windmill, a corn mill from 1755. Further on you will pass Woerden Castle, which dates from 1417. In picturesque Linschoten you will experience the atmosphere of a bygone era. Also in beautiful Montfort you will probably squeeze the brakes a few times for the many monuments!
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
