Description
At Hotel Restaurant D\\\'n Dries you can enjoy something tasty before you drive to Giersbergen. Thanks to the monumental thatched long-façade farms you can still experience the atmosphere of times gone by. Then you cycle through the Loonse and Drunense Dunes. In this national park you will find vast heathlands and quiet forests. And of course the famous drifting dunes to which this area owes its nickname: the Brabant Sahara. Through the polders you cycle to Heusden, a fortified town on the Maas that has been restored in old style. Take your time here to admire the many centuries-old buildings. You will also see three mills from the seventies on the ramparts.
