Description
Your bike tour starts at Theehuis Mon-Chouette. This route takes you via Maarsbergen to the Kaapse Bossen. Then you cycle to the village of Driebergen-Rijsenburg and cross the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. A wonderful area to cycle through! What is definitely worth it on this route is the Ten Treek estate. On this estate there is a coach house with a service house, a gardener's house, the farm 'De Ossenstal' and a picturesque hunting lodge from the year 1838. Here you go back in time for a while. The village of Austerlitz also has a special history, it is named after a famous victory of Napoleon. You will also pass Poorthuis Ruiterberg, which is located in the middle of the Kaapse Bossen. Take a break at De Veldpoort Food and Drink in Wijk bij Duurstede!
