In the western part of Zeeland there is a peninsula where you can enjoy the vastness of the province while cycling through the landscape. You can see the North Sea, the Western Scheldt and the Veerse Meer. You start the cycle route at Frieterie De Bostent, on the edge of the woods above Oostkapelle. Here you can enjoy freshly baked, artisan fries. You set course for Vrouwepolder and the Veerse Meer, which is popular among water sports enthusiasts. The lake was created by damming the Veerse Gat when the Delta Works were built. You cycle through bustling Middelburg to Domburg. You also pass Kasteel Westhove. Everything shows that this must have once been a mighty castle. This route shows a beautiful part of Zeeland!
