Description
This route runs through a varied landscape. You can park for free in the center of Swalmen and you are right on the route. You go from Swalmen along the Maas to Tegelen where the turning point is and you cycle back to Swalmen via the Brachter Wald. You drive along the water, through fields and forests. There are plenty of places with restaurants along the way. In addition to normal roads, the route also covers a considerable number of kilometers on semi-paved paths. As a result, the route is not suitable for racing bikes. There are also a few nice climbs and descents, but these are easy to do. Especially with an e-bike.
There is a nice moment to get off in Swalmen, just at the beginning of the route. In a garden you can view the most imaginative structures from the street.
