Tour of Barchem, Lochem and Ruurlo

Between Ruurlo and Lochum, a picturesque, idyllic landscape is visible: National Landscape De Graafschap. It is a beautiful small-scale landscape that is characterized by the fairytale vistas in a semi-open area. The interplay of wooded banks, hedges, farms, fields and streams gives the area something exciting. The coulisse landscape also has many estates and castles that are typical for the area. In Ruurlo there is a windmill from 1851: Agneta. The mill was used as a hulling, oil and corn mill and is named after Freule Johanna Mauritia Agneta van Heeckeren van Kell. Further on you will discover Museum MORE - Ruurlo, a nice place to take a break. Via Kranenburg and Lochem you cycle back to your starting point.
