Tour of Slagharen, Hardenberg and Klimberg

Your route starts at Camping De Kleine Wolf & brasserie De Wolventuin. The cycling tour leads you to windmill De Pionier in Slagharen; the village that is particularly known for Attractiepark Slagharen (formerly Ponypark Slagharen). This octagonal tower mill was built in 1859 with the aim of grinding grain. The mill stands on a stone substructure and is covered with wood and thatch. In 1975 the mill was restored and was incorporated into the amusement park. He no longer grinds grain, but the mill did feature in the youth series'Spanning in Slagharen\\\' from 1988. The valley through which the winding Vecht makes its way is a beautiful landscape in which picturesque villages, vast country estates, dense forests and vast moors stretch out. Get off in Rheeze!
