Tour Oostkapelle, Wissenkerke and Veere

Your cycling tour starts at Fietswinkel Kamperland. From here you cross the Veerse Meer to the nice fortified town of Veere. Be sure to take a look around here! You can see the round stone mill called 'De Koe' from quite a distance. The mill is still relatively young; it was not built until 1909, on the site of a previous ground sailor from 1736 that burned down. According to Zeeland tradition, the brick mill is white in color. The cow is used to grind corn and is still capable of being milled. It is also a holiday home. The Veerse Gatdam is the third structure of the Delta Works. It was completed in 1961 and connects Walcheren with Noord-Beveland.
