Description
Old estates, impressive castles, historic country houses and rural gardens. That is what awaits you in the Vecht region. You start at Brasserie Abrona in De Meern, an authentic, former farm. After your bike ride, you can have a drink here and enjoy fresh bread from our own bakery. From here, you cycle to the Hamtoren, a remnant of Den Ham Castle. Then you cycle along the Loosdrechtse plassen, a wonderful area to cycle through. Along the way, you will pass various mills. You will also cycle straight through Utrecht and pass Stadskasteel Oudaen, a fortified medieval house on the Oudegracht. Then you cycle through Lombok back to Brasserie Abrona. A wonderful route to cycle!
