Along country houses in the Vecht region

Old country estates, impressive castles, historic country estates and landscaped gardens. That is what awaits you in the Vechtstreek. You start at Brasserie Abrona in De Meern, an authentic, former farm. After your bike ride you can have a nice drink here, enjoy the fresh bread from our own bakery. From here you cycle to the Hamtoren, a remnant of Den Ham Castle. Then you cycle along the Loosdrechtse Plassen, a wonderful area to cycle through. Along the way you will pass several windmills. You will also cycle straight through Utrecht and pass Stadskasteel Oudaen, a fortified medieval house on the Oudegracht. You then cycle through Lombok back to Brasserie Abrona. A wonderful route for cycling!
