A day out on the Veluwe

Your route starts at Hotel Restaurant De Vossenberg. From Vierhouten you can cycle straight into nature. You then cross various forests on the Veluwe. This is a wonderful cycling area, because you will find plenty of peace and quiet among the deciduous and coniferous trees. Around't Harde you can see the fields on one side of the road, and the forests on the other side. After you have driven many kilometers through the woods, you will pass through the Wisselse Veen around junction 63. Here you see the heath gradually change into a swampy swamp area with lots of open water, streams and ditches. The barren grasslands form a treasure trove of valuable plants. Finally, you drive near Gortel along the Gortelse Heide: what beautiful views!
