Description

There is plenty to enjoy around the Veerse Meer. You start the route in the De Piet recreation area. You drive along a leafy path to charming Veere. Here you will see, among other things, De Koe, a flour mill from 1909. In Vrouwenpolder you pass the Pilgrim Church from 1622. The Veerse Gatdam closed the Veerse Gat in 1961, creating the Veerse Meer. From the dam you have a beautiful view of the Veerse Meer and the North Sea. Via Kamperland you drive a bit through the beautiful and quiet Noord-Beveland. You can take a ferry to Walcheren and drive back to De Piet.
