Through the woods between Lunteren and Otterlo

You can take a bike ride through the vast forests between Lunteren and Otterlo. First you drive past the Mosselse Veld. There is a lookout tower along the path to get a good look at this open area of grass and heathland. Then you cycle further into the Roekelse Bos. The Lunterse Bos was constructed at the end of the nineteenth century on behalf of notary Van den Ham. He had a lookout tower De Koepel built on the Galgenberg. Further on, on the Goudsberg, is the De Hessenhut Lookout Tower. Cycling along the edge of the Wekeromse Zand you look out over forest and fields, what a change. In this region you will see some beautiful thatched farms, and you will also pass Wijnhoeve De Veluwe. The route ends at Boerderij Mossel. Time for a terrace at the tearoom.
