Description

From Amerongen you can make a varied cycling tour over the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Soon after boarding you can take a look at Kasteel Amerongen. The current building originally dates from 1680. You cycle along the edge of Leersum to Landgoed 't Lage Laer. After a shortcut through the Kromme Rijnsteek, you enter Driebergen-Rijsenburg, where you pass the Sparrendaal Estate, which was built in the eighteenth century. At Health Center Hoenderdaal you can get off for a cozy and refreshing terrace, after which you drive through the beautiful Hoofdstraat again. You pass Landgoed Kraaybeekerhof, then you cycle to the next picturesque village: Doorn. Just before junction 70 you pass the striking Poorthuis Ruiterberg from 1917. The last kilometers you drive peacefully through the woods.
