Cycling tour over the Utrechtse Heuvelrug

Your route starts at Café & Terras Beauforthuis, a lovely place in the woods to drink coffee and have lunch. In the heart of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug lie the Austerlitz forestry and the Leusderheide. During this route you will get to know this beautiful area. It is enormously varied: vast heathlands and open sandy plains alternate with the deciduous and coniferous forests for which the area is known. Then you come to the city of Zeist, where you will see Slot Zeist. The beautiful castle was built in the seventeenth century. Take a look at this impressive building via the stately driveway! Also worth seeing is the Ten Treek estate. This estate has a coach house with a service house, a gardener's house, the farm 'De Ossenstal' and a picturesque hunting lodge.
