Your route starts in Wierden. The Reggedal is a beautiful wide stream valley where you can enjoy a refreshing rest. Extra beautiful in combination with the cultural history that you encounter here, for example in the form of burial mounds. The Notterveld is a scenic landscape of fields, meadows and forest. In the Wierdense Veld you will find vast heathlands and raised bogs. This nature reserve is grazed by a flock of sheep, at the edge of the field you pass the sheepfold. Stop off at Brasserie R-1854 along the way! On the edge of Hoge Hexel you will pass a farm with a monumental sheepfold. You dive into Almelo for a while, after which you drive back into Wierden. In this village you will see old Saxon farms. The tower of St. John's Church dates from the Middle Ages.
