Description

This route takes you through the northeast of Brabant. A large part of the route you cycle through Landschapspark de Maashorst. This extensive nature reserve consists of coniferous forests, heathlands and fens, but you will also see authentic farmland with fields, wet grasslands and hedgerows. A beautiful cycling area! You will also pass through the towns of Zeeland, Nistelrode and Schaijk. Here you will see authentic churches, old farms and many corn mills. Such as the Dageraad from 1832. The Windlust is the oldest example. It was originally built in 1532. In 1898 and in 1974 the mill was moved, so that it eventually ended up in its current location. Finally you cycle past Coppens Molen, which was built in 1883. The start and end point is at De Heische Tip, a cozy tavern.
