The best of both worlds in one route. You start the route in Schagen at the Vreeburg Farm and Carriage Museum. Take a look at this 17th century city farm. Then you cycle to Dirkshorn, Tuitjenhorn and Alkmaar. Alkmaar is known for its cheese market and you will also find cozy streets, narrow courtyards, beautiful canals and a beautiful historic center.
