Bladel, North Brabant, The Netherlands
Cycling route: 115977
Provided by: route.nl
Your cycle route starts at the cozy Camping De Couwenberg. The Kempen stretch out in Flanders and the southern part of the Netherlands. The area has a dry, sandy soil where until the mid-twentieth century heath, oak forest, fens and peat areas were still untouched. You can still find these landscape elements here, but on a smaller scale. You cycle across the Landschotse Heide to the windmill St. Jan, surrounded by beautiful farms, vast meadows and arable lands and forests. Halfway through the cycle route you will pass Gasterij Dorpsgenot in the pleasant village of Oerle, where you can relax and enjoy a snack and a drink. If you want to charge your bike, you can do that here too! You cycle back to the starting point of the route via the Buikheide and the Landschotse Heide.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
