From the heart of Oosterhout, you'll first cycle through what's known as the Holy Triangle. Around junction 4, you'll find three abbeys: Our Lady's Abbey, St. Paul's Abbey, and the Catharinadal, housed in the centuries-old small castle De Blauwe Camer. You'll also cycle through Dorst Forest, where conifers predominate. On the outskirts of Bavel, you can stop for a delicious lunch at Korenmolen | De Hoop. The mill is still active and dates back to 1865. From the Zwarte Dijk (Black Dike), you have a beautiful view over the meadows of the Lage Vuchtpolder. Further on, you can enjoy the fresh forest air in the De Vrachelse Heide nature reserve. Back in Oosterhout, you'll pass De Heuvel, a protected townscape thanks to its stately monuments and double row of trees.
