Description

This cycle route first leads you to Koetshuis Anneville, originally a tenant farm from 1844. Here is the St. Paulus Abbey, one of the three abbeys in the Holy Triangle. The abbey was founded by French monks and built at the beginning of the twentieth century. The Blue Camer was built around 1400. However, the basis for the still existing Norbertine Priory of Sint-Catharinadal was already formed in 1271, by seven sisters from Vroenhout. The OLV Abbey is also inhabited by a sister order. French sisters moved into this former boys' boarding school at the beginning of the twentieth century. You cycle back to your starting point via the Vrachelse Heide.
