The Groenendaalsmolen is a corn mill that operated near Euverem on the waters of the Gulp. After being converted into a residence, it no longer operates. The mill originally belonged to Groenendael Castle, built in 1775, of which only the foundations remain. The Neubourgermolen is another beautiful watermill. It was built in 1712 to grind paper. It ground clothing into pulp, which was then used to make paper by hand. You'll cycle a considerable distance through the beautiful Limburg nature of the Vijlenerbosch, the longest forest in the Netherlands. You'll also experience a glimpse of the outside world as you pass through Vaals and Teuven. Here, you'll feel like you're a long way from home.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
