Nature Park Lelystad & Gelderse Hout

Nature Park Lelystad started in the 1970s as an annex of Artis Zoo. You walk through a water-rich landscape, past Przewalski horses and Paterdavid deer and wisents. And with residents such as beaver and raven, the adjacent urban forest Gelderse Hout turns out to be just as exciting.

Instead of walking along the cycle path parallel to the canal, you can also walk along a grass path along the canal.
