Your route starts at Camping het Vossenhol. Harderwijk was located on the Zuiderzee less than a century ago. The tamed waters of the Wolderwijd now lap at the city quay. Harderwijk is a former Hanseatic and fortified city. The city centre, which is a protected cityscape, has almost a hundred monuments, such as centuries-old mansions. On the Zeedijk you have beautiful views over the Nuldernauw. How wonderfully peaceful it is to cycle here. From junction 38 you will see the fourteenth-century Arkemheenpolder on your left, one of the oldest in the Netherlands. Further on you can take a well-deserved break at Gulden Tulip Ampt van Nijkerk. In the Gelderse Vallei you will see beautiful country houses and mills. On the medieval estate Oldenaller you will find, in addition to the old country house, two farm complexes and a service house, with a dovecote.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
