Through the lush forests to the Garderen Veld

You start just outside Apeldoorn. From here you immediately cycle for many kilometers through the beautiful forests. One minute you're riding between fragrant conifers, the next you're cycling in the shade of large deciduous trees. Occasionally you have lovely views of grasslands. You will also pass the edge of the Houtdorperveld. In Garderen you pass De Hoop, a corn mill that was built here in 1852. The Caitwickerzand is a nature reserve where you can see oaks, grasses, flying pines and juniper bushes. Further on you will pass Radio Kootwijk and the old sheepfolds of Hoog Buurlo. You can spot deer at the Wildkansel.
