Tour of Hoog Buurlo and Radio Kootwijk

Your route starts at Brasserie 't Genot van Garderen. The day gets off to a great start with a beautiful path running between the Houtdorperveld and Landgoed 't Sol. You wind your way through the woods to the Wildkansel on the Weikamperweg. A special feature is the sheepfold you encounter in Hoog Buurlo. Two folds stand on the edge of the vast Hoog Buurlo heath. Time seems to stand still here; a flock of Veluwe heath sheep still finds shelter in the sheepfold at night. The surroundings also contribute to the authentic feel: surrounded by fields with game walls and stately beech avenues flanked by oak and beech forests, the hamlet of Hoog Buurlo is a rolling pearl of the Veluwe! You drive back past Radio Kootwijk, another real highlight.
