Through the lush forests to the Garderense Veld

You start just outside Apeldoorn. From here you can immediately cycle many kilometers through the beautiful forests. One moment you are riding between fragrant conifers, the next you are cycling in the shade of large deciduous trees. Every now and then you have lovely views of grasslands. You will also pass the edge of the Houtdorperveld. In Garderen you will pass De Hoop, a flour mill that was built here in 1852. The Caitwickerzand is a nature reserve where you see oaks, grasses, pine trees and juniper bushes. Further on you will pass Radio Kootwijk and the old sheepfolds of Hoog Buurlo. You can spot deer at the Wildkansel.
