Description
At the start of your route you can enjoy something to eat at Pannenkoekenboerderij De Wildenburg. This gives you extra energy for your bike ride through the varied landscape between Nijkerk and Putten. You cycle to the Arkersluis and the accompanying beautiful eighteenth-century Sluishuis, the former lock keeper's house. You drive along the Nuldernauw to Putten. Here you will pass, among other things, the't Hert flour mill from 1899. On the Veluwe you will pass the Schovenhorst Estate, where you can visit some special gardens and a lookout tower. In the forest you will pass the Boeschoten sheepfold, which provides shelter for a herd of Veluwe Heath sheep. You are welcome for a drink at Speel & Beleefboerderij De Roosendaal. You cycle through the Gelderse Vallei to Golden Tulip Ampt from Nijkerk. Time for a nice meal.
