Description
At the start of your route you can have a nice meal at Pancake Farm De Wildenburg. This will give you extra energy for your bike ride through the varied landscape between Nijkerk and Putten. You cycle to the Arkersluis and the associated beautiful eighteenth-century Sluishuis, the former lock keeper's house. Along the Nuldernauw you cycle to Putten. Here you pass, among other things, the corn mill 't Hert from 1899. On the Veluwe you pass Landgoed Schovenhorst, where you can visit several special gardens and a lookout tower. In the forest you pass the Schaapskooi van Boeschoten, which is home to a herd of Veluwe heath sheep. At Speel & Beleefboerderij De Roosendaal you are welcome for a drink. Through the Gelderse Vallei you cycle to Golden Tulip Ampt van Nijkerk. Time for a delicious meal.
