The Betuwe is ideal for cycling trips. You will undoubtedly come along or over the Linge, the longest river in the Netherlands. Along the river you will find beautiful farms, lush orchards, old mills and churches, cute villages and fortified towns. Along the way you will pass various windmills and estates. Take, for example, B12 - Hemmen - Landgoed Hemmen, also known as the pearl of the Betuwe. The estate has a long history. From the 14th century, there was a large moated castle where the ruins are now visible. Via Elst and Lent you cycle through the beautiful nature back to Oosterhout.
