Where the Peel once formed an inaccessible raised bog area, you can now easily cycle for miles through the Limburg landscape. Here you will find quiet nature reserves and characteristic church villages, such as Leunen. Here you see St. Catherine's Church, whose choir dates from 1433. You will also pass through Ysselsteyn, a mining village that was founded in 1921 and has a striking street pattern. You cycle via the Paardekop nature reserve to the two Brabant extraction villages: Griendtsveen and Helenaveen. In the latter you can enjoy a delicious meal on the cozy terrace of Hotel Eetcafé In D\\\'ouwe Peel, after which you drive back into Limburg. In the heart of Horst you will see some beautiful monumental buildings, further on you will pass Molen Eendracht Maak Macht. This was built in 1899 with parts from a Dutch mill from 1798.
