Cycling route Restaurant Studlers and Hotel Van Renenpark

From Restaurant Studlers you can take a varied cycle tour through the North Holland polders. First you drive to Schoorl. Here you will see two beautiful monumental buildings on the Duinweg: the Reformed Church from 1783 and the Town Hall from 1601. Between junctions 44 and 41 you drive over the centuries-old West Frisian Omringdijk. In Oudkarspel you will pass some special buildings, such as the Allemanskerk, the oldest parts of which date from the eleventh century. The Regthuis is a museum that is located in the former town hall from 1744. A little further on you drive through the so-called'Empire of the Thousand Islands\\\'. This unique landscape layout is the result of an outbreak of swine fever in the thirteenth century. The farmers quarantined their livestock on separate islands. You cycle back to Bergen along the Geestmerambacht recreation area.
