Explore the Austerlitz Forestry and the Kromme Rijn region

From the Utrechtse Heuvelrug you first cycle into the Kromme Rijnstreek. In this lowland you drive past vast grasslands, ditches and beautiful old buildings. Just before Langbroek you pass Hinderstein Castle, which was originally built around 1300. Then you cycle back up the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. You can enjoy the beautiful, varied nature here for many kilometers. In the middle of the Cape Forests you drive past the striking Poorthuis Ruiterberg from 1917. You also cycle through Den Treek, an originally medieval estate. Here you can still see a beautiful nineteenth-century farm and gamekeeper's house. always, after which you get back on the saddle full of energy. You drive back to the parking lot via Soesterberg and Boswachterij Austerlitz.
