Round Saint Anthony

Soon after boarding you drive past Groote Slink & Bunthorst. These two estates were built in the early twentieth century by order of two brothers from Twente. One in English landscape style, the other with fields and tight avenues. Further on you drive through the vast Sint Anthonisbos. It is wonderfully quiet here cycling between Scots pines and deciduous trees. You also drive over the heathland that is grazed by a herd of Kempense Heideschapen. You pass their sheepfold here. Cycling through the countryside you will pass the Hamse Molen, a flour mill from 1811. In Rijkevoort you can view the Luctor et Emergo, a flour mill from 1901. You will also pass through Oploo, here you will find the Korenbloem mill from 1800.
