Description
The nature around Valkenswaard is no less than the beauty of the Veluwe, for example. You cycle through vast forests and stream valleys. First you cycle through the Leenderbos with its many conifers. You can cross the border to take a look at the Achelse Kluis Abbey, before you cycle to the Malpie via Schaft and Borkel. In this nature reserve you see a mix of fens, forest and drifting dunes. In Bergeijk you take a pit stop on the cozy terrace of Hotel Restaurant BEAU. Just past junction 15 you cycle through the valley of the Keersop and the Dommel. Via Aalst you cycle to the forests and heathlands of the Groote Heide nature reserve. Just before Leenderstrijp you see the Sint-Janskapel from 1843 on your right.
