Mill route Maashorst

Your route starts at De Pastorie. From here you cycle a nice route past windmills, such as the Nooit Gedacht (hull/remains). The mill was built in 1858. The Coppensmolen is a belt mill/upper mill in the town of Zeeland, which was probably built in 1883. The mill replaced a post mill, many parts of which were repurposed into this windmill. A mill of the same type that also ground corn using wind power was De Dageraad. This belt mill/upper porter was probably built in 1832. De Dageraad still mills grain on a voluntary basis.
