A wonderful bike ride along the ditches and canals in the polder, where you hardly cycle in the busy built-up area, but rather look for the peace and space of the Krimpenerwaard. In addition to a lot of natural beauty, you will also come across interesting remnants of windmills. Like the Kleine Molen (hull/remainder), also called the Molen van Hol. This was originally built around 1620 as a seesaw mill. Only the lower tower remains. Another ruin is the Boezemm. nr.6 (hull/remnant). This round stone mill has a distinct bell shape and is the sixth in a series of seven mills that drained the Krimpenerwaard. All these mills were originally seesaw mills that were built from 1486. Have a cup of coffee in Haastrecht at the cozy brasserie Het Witte Hof!
