Description

First you cycle to Etten-Leur and the Zwartenberg windmill. This polder mill from 1889 replaces a mill from 1721. In Breda you will come across the Emmaüs chapel, from the Old Episcopal Catholic Church. The chapel was built in 1990. The contrast with the St. Joost chapel could not have been greater: this chapel is the oldest in Breda and was founded in 1436. Over the years, the chapel has served as a warehouse, as a stable, as a prison for soldiers and as a home. The Royal Military Academy (KMA) is now located in Breda Castle. The castle's history dates back to 1350. The Beguinage Chapel, located in the oldest beguinage in the Netherlands, is also special.
