Via Rijsbergen you cycle to De Pannenhoef, an old peat area. Until the seventeenth century, plenty of peat was extracted here. Now there is a beautiful nature reserve of forests, fens and flowery meadows. Then you drive through the Rucphense Bossen, a forest area that extends to the border with Belgium. Originally there was a cover sand ridge here with heathlands and drifting sand areas. The forests that exist today were created when the area was planted with conifers in the early 20th century. Get off at Het Wapen van Nassau and enjoy a delicious snack and drink during your break. On this route you cycle past the De Toekomst mill and the De Lelie mill. On the edge of Etten-Leur you will see the Mariakapel. The Lambertus Church regularly organizes religious events and gatherings here.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
