Description

Your route starts at Café Restaurant De Otterskooi in the lovely Dwarsgracht. At the beautiful Giethoorn you can see the windmill Giethoorn Noord. The paaltjasker from 1970 blends naturally into the landscape. Mill De Sterrenberg was built in the heart of Nijeveen in 1786. The mill originally comes from Germany, but was rebuilt here. This flour mill still grinds grain on a voluntary basis and the millers also sell the flour to private individuals. Kolderveen has a beautiful village church. Unlike in most church villages, the religious building is not in the center, but at the end of a 400-meter avenue. You cycle back to your starting point via a beautiful passage between the Beulaker- and Belterwijde.
