The polder in De Hoeksche Waard

This route takes you through a real Dutch polder landscape with unprecedented views, winding creeks and meandering dikes. The landscape of the Hoeksche Waard consists of approximately sixty polders, interspersed with small characteristic villages and monumental buildings. Along the way you cycle past Landzicht, the remains of a mill. Get off your bike here to view the remains of the mill. That is definitely worth it. In Westmaas you will find the Windlust mill. The start and end point of the route is Postillion Hotel Dorecht. This hotel is close to the center of Dordrecht, where you can enjoy a bite to eat or view the many national monuments. An ideal location and the hotel rooms are equipped with every luxury. You can also go there for a nice lunch or dinner.
