Description

From Drimmelen you drive through the Prinsenpolder. A wide area where mainly grasslands can be found on the marine clay. It will be nice to get some fresh air! There are a few beautiful flour mills in this region. First you see De Hoop from 1837. It is located in Den Hout: a real esdorp, something you do not often encounter in Brabant! A little further on, Hoop Doet Leven towers far above Made, the mill was built in 1867. The last flour mill on the route is Zeldenrust from 1866. It is located in Hooge Zwaluwe, a picturesque village. You then cycle through the polder to the Moerdijk Bridge. You can cross this for a beautiful panorama over the water and the Biesbosch. Just before the end point you can enjoy a snack and a drink at Het Panorama.
