From the parking lot you can drive straight into the Strabrechtse Heide. In this beautiful nature reserve you can see what large parts of North Brabant used to be like. Here you pass the Hoenderboom. The boundaries of five surrounding municipalities once met here. You recognize this place by the copy of the old border marker. Further on you cycle through the Molenheide, which was developed as a job creation project just before the Second World War. It is wonderfully peaceful to cycle through the greenery along the Eindhoven Canal. Via Geldrop Castle you drive to Kaffee Peijnenburg & Hotel Nijver for a nice terrace. Then you cycle across the Leenderheide to Heeze. Here you can take a look at the beautiful Heeze Castle, after which you can take a break with a snack and drink at Tapperij de Zwaan.

Kasteel Geldrop
Geldrop Castle is a castle from 1350 and is located right in the center. It is located in the valley of the locally busy meandering Kleine Dommel. The beautiful English landscape gardens surround the castle. It houses a petting zoo, an active IVN in the former coach house and the beautiful flower garden De Baron z? N Hof.
Kasteel Heeze
During the war, the municipal population register was regularly stored safely in the castle. As a result, it was also preserved when the resistance in a robbery set fire to the town hall of Heeze in September 1943, see also point 25 below. Because Heeze had no town hall at the time, the castle was also used as such for a short time.
