The Veluwe National Park is the largest lowland area in Europe and covers more than 91,200 hectares. The Welna estate is located near historic old villages in the nature reserve and has clear traces of the past, which continue into the present. During this cycling route you will explore this beautiful area. You start at Fietsverhuur Hazeleger, where you can rent a bike or have your bike repaired. On the Veluwe you can escape the hustle and bustle for a while: it is wonderful to wander through large areas of untouched nature without encountering people. On the heath you can wander endlessly in the company of many songbirds, birds of prey, deer and wild boars.
