Loop around Staverden, Speulderbos and Elspeet

Your route begins with a stop at the terrace of Brasserie Staverden. The Staverden Estate has held city rights since the thirteenth century, making it the smallest town in the Netherlands. Via Garderen, you drive to the Speulderbos, one of the oldest and most beautiful forests in the country. There is abundant wildlife here, as nature is allowed to take its course. At junction 50, you can catch a glimpse of Groot Spriel, a country house dating from 1882. Via Putten, you drive to the Sprielderbos. The sheepfold in Ermelo is one of the largest in Gelderland. It houses the Ermelo flock, which consists of about 300 sheep. In Elspeet, you can take a break at Restaurant 't Edelhert. You drive back to the Staverden Estate at your leisure.
