Description
You will soon cycle past Stadhuis Visbrug in Oudewater, the monumental town hall from 1588. It was rebuilt after the destruction by the Spanish army and is still in use. In Montfoort you cycle through the historic street Om 't Hof. It connects Hofstraat with De Plaats, where the outer bailey of Kasteel Montfoort used to be. The entrance gate is still standing proudly. In the beautiful IJsselstein you cycle past Korenmolen De Windotter from 1732, which is beautifully displayed on the fortress wall. The mill is still in operation. Then you cycle to Huis Harmelen, a former castle and a knight's manor near the nice old Harmelen.
