In the countryside of Tilburg it is wonderful to cycle through a varied landscape. You pass through Annanina's Rust, an estate founded in 1899 by a local notary. He named this area after his Russian mistress who lived in a small house on the estate. You cycle towards Tilburg via the village of Biest-Houtakker. In the center of this former textile city you will pass the striking nineteenth-century Heuvelse Kerk. Along the Wilhelmina Canal you drive to Koningshoeven Abbey, a Trappist monastery that was founded in 1881. In the abbey shop you will find many tasty abbey products. Then you drive into the Oisterwijkse Bossen & Vennen. A vast nature reserve where you can enjoy the peace and quiet. And a drink and snack at Boshuis Venkraai. You cycle back to Diessen through the agricultural area.
